Ouch, June. I hit a funk this month. Have you ever hit a reading funk? I was really only able to keep any momentum going because of my audio books, which are enjoyable, but frustrating when I feel I can’t otherwise focus on reading. Sometimes I have to start 3 or 4 audio books before finding one that works. Not all books can be “read” by listening to them. I’ve decided to blame this month on my summer cold that turned into bronchitis, a really long case of bronchitis.
Let’s take a look at what I’ve read in June 2019, no matter how few books that might be!

What I’ve Read in June 2019: Update For My Reading Goals
Goal #1: 2019 Goodreads Challenge – Read 75 books
I read 3 books in June which has put me further behind than I would like to be. Darn it! I am still pretty confident I can meet if not exceed my goal for 2019. Check out my books here.

Goal #2: 2019 Non-Fiction Books Challenge – Read at least 10% non-fiction books
Whoa! In June 2 out of 3 books were Non-Fiction, that’s pretty awesome! See them tracked here.
Goal #3: 2019 TBR Pile Challenge
I added one to this list this month! Perhaps I could really say two. Can I count Yes Please even though I listened to it on audiobook since I also own it?
See all of them tracked here.
Goal #4: A Book A Week with the Pingel Sisters Challenge
Sadly, I wasn’t able to check any of these off my list this month. See all of them tracked here.
Goal #5: 2019 Audiobook Challenge, tracked here – Listen to at least 12 Audiobooks
June was another great month for this category! I was able to add two more, so have already exceeded my goal!
Goal #6: 2019 Finishing the Series Reading Challenge, tracked here
Sadly, nothing to see here. Seems like I might want to remove this challenge, or at least not do it in the future. Although, I do have a lot of series I need to finish! So many books, so little time.
Goal #7: 2019 Historical Fiction Reading Challenge, tracked here
Nothing this month.
Goal #8: 2019 Library Love Challenge, tracked here
As always, there was lots of Library love this month! I definitely get a lot of use out of my library’s audio books. As a result I’ll have no problem successfully finishing this challenge.
Goal #9: Read and Review 10 Advanced Review Copies (ARC), tracked here
Sadly I didn’t read any ARCs this month. I have a huge pile of these, so I really need to get on it!
Goal #10: 2019 New Release Challenge, tracked here
I was able to add one New Release this month!
