Time for another Stitch Fix! Let’s face it, sometimes I feel like leaving me up to choosing my own clothes would be disastrous. As much as I would love a girls shopping day, those are hard to come by, so I will take a girls virtual shopping trip with a lovely shopper for moi! I did request once again for them to send me something I could wear for our holiday photos and fall items. As always I made sure to remind my stylist that I live in Florida and I do enjoy having someone push me a bit outside of my comfort zone when looking to get new clothes.
This page contains affiliate links, including my Stitch Fix referral link, which means I may earn a commission if you use them.
Are you familiar with Stitch Fix? If not, it’s a styling service subscription box that sends you five items per box, ranging from jewelry and jeans to purses and shoes. You fill out a style profile that lets you select everything from if you like to show off your shoulders to linking to a Pinterest board where you can pin items you like to help give your stylist inspiration, here’s mine! The box costs $20 upfront and that goes towards whatever you purchase. If you do choose to purchase all five items you get a 25% discount. I’ve reviewed two of my other boxes here and here if you want to see some of the other boxes I’ve received in the last few months!
Stitch Fix Review October 2018 Box
I ended up with a different stylist again this time. The message sent didn’t feel as personal as some of the others, but I think she did a great job with her choices! As a reminder, I asked for options (again) to wear for our fall photos.
I was so excited to get some jewelry and peeking at the colors I couldn’t wait to try them on! always love opening this box! It’s hard to tell but the colors are so fall and so beautiful! They also give styling suggestions for each of the items! I love to keep the suggestions for the items I keep to give me inspiration.
Outfit One: Clothing Item 1 and 2
The top is Kut from the Kloth – Sinclaire Button Front Blouse and the jeans are Judy Blue – Jerri Distressed Boyfriend Jeans. The colors in this shirt are so pretty, and perfect for fall. Unfortunately it’s sheer and not something that I wanted to add to my closet. The jeans though, ahhhhhh. That’s how I felt when I put them on. They were so comfortable! I loved these jeans, I really did. They fit like a dream when I put them on, but as I was walking around I could tell they would be jeans that would be baggy and unattractive by the end of the day. Verdict – Tempted by the jeans, but sent them both back.
Outfit Two: Clothing Item 2 and 3
The top is Emory Park – Dulce Sleeveless Knit Top and the jeans are the same from the first outfit, the Judy Blue – Jerri Distressed Boyfriend Jeans. I wasn’t sure about this tank, I definitelly didn’t need a tank right now but then I tried it on. The fabric is so nice and very soft and the fit felt just right and for the price, well, I couldn’t resist. Verdict – Kept the tank
Outfit Three: Clothing Items 2, 3 and 4
The cardigan is Mix by 41 Hawthorn – Martina Slub Knit Open Cardigan. I love that the stylist saw I pinned the cardigan on my pinterest board and included it! I love the color, I dont have any cardigans in this color, the fabric is so lovely and it has pockets! Little slouchy pockets. Verdict – Kept the cardigan!
Jewelry!
The necklace is Jill Michael – Elliot Pre-Layered Bar Necklace. It is so beautiful, and I don’t have anything like it! I don’t have a lot of gold jewelry and I was excited to see this. Verdict – This necklace is mine.
I kept three items! I’ve never kept that many items and I really did enjoy this fix. I didn’t end up using any of the items for our family photos, but I have still enjoyed adding them to my closet. I can’t wait for my next fix, which is already scheduled. Have you tried Stitch Fix? Give it a try!
